Meet my best friends. They are by my side forever and always and I can not imagine life without them. Through the good times and the really hard times, these girls have shown Christ's love to me in so many ways. I thank God for the women that He has put into my life and their positive impact on who I am becoming. (from left to right: Sam Steele, Amanda McDougal, me, Brittnie Bloom) "Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep." - Romans 12:15. From laughing til our stomachs' ache to crying and pouring out our hearts, our lives are all so different, yet rooted in the same: Jesus Christ. Four different girls, four different life-stories, four different testimonies to Christ's merciful love, one purpose. To love God. Jesus said: "My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends." -John 15:12-13
We cannot fully compare the love on this earth to the love that God gives to us - because we are merely humans that mess up ALL the time - but God's love is perfect and flawless. and the love that my friends have shown to me is a reflection of God's love and how beautiful it is. Human love and these friendships help me begin to understand what God's love is like. and I am in awe. I marvel at the way I hurt God and betray Him yet He still loves me regardless of the things I do and cares for my every need.
I adore these ladies and how beautiful their souls are. I am encouraged by them everyday and enjoy each moment that I get to spend with them. As we are growing up and moving into new stages of our lives and it becomes tough to find quality time to spend together. But even though life changes, there is always room for our friendships to grow as we learn new lessons from each other. Whether 5 minutes or 1,600 miles apart, these women have a special place in my heart and in my prayers.
"Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls for he has no one to help him up." -Ecclesiastes 4:9-10
